Porta-Creche, based in South-East Queensland, provides quality short term childcare at any location for parents to attend an event without the worry of what to do with their children.

The corporate sectors are beginning to see how valuable a crèche facility is to the success of their events and in private sectors, the growth of crèches for weddings and private parties is enabling more families to attend such events.We provide a crèche service at corporate and leisure events along with resources and equipment to convert an empty room into a safe and stimulating play area, whilst adults engage in other activities.
As a minimum with our service, a wide range of toys, games, learning and fun activities are provided.

 - Drawing and Play Dough
- Singing and Music
- Construction
- Jigsaws and board games
- Role Play
- Dress ups eg. pirates, fairies
We endeavour to encourage development, learning and stimulating opportunities through play for all young children.
The main area we service is Toowoomba and the Darling Downs, however as we are a mobile service we are flexible to consider any other area our service is required. All our staff are suitably qualified - teachers, nurses or childcare workers and hold a Blue Card and Senior First Aid Certificate.
Weddings:
On these special days, the question of what to do with the children is a big one for most people and they will consider the following carefully:
- It's a long day for a child to sit quietly and behave
 - Parents hesitate to leave their child at home with a babysitter for these special occasions, unsure of time frames etc.
- Parents with babies and young children don’t relax at these occasions as much as they should
A room at the venue is set aside for us to create a play space where the children will engage in activities such as making cards for the bride and groom and party games. The bride and groom may prefer to include the children in the reception so we can either supervise the children's meal at their own table or within the crèche area.(All meals provided by the venue or parents). The wedding crèches tend to start from the beginning of the reception through to the start of celebrations. Some people prefer to have the crèche set up during the ceremony. We are flexible to accommodate your requirements. For the operators of the wedding venues, it is appealing to the people booking their wedding day to have a crèche service as part of the wedding package on offer.
Conferences/Corporate Functions:
A mobile creche facility offers the perfect childcare solution for larger scale events. Porta-Creche is available to hire by local government departments, large corporations and private businesses. All we need is a suitable space at any venue - for events such as race days, we would require a tent or marquee to be provided so we can supervise groups of children. We are happy to also incorporate a lost children's service, and liaise with event organisers and local police. Providing on-site childcare facilities is valuable for working parents in organising their time to attend work related conferences. There are different ways to run the crèche service: - Some conference organisers prefer to pay to have a free crèche available which operates on a first come, first served basis and the child attends for a set amount of time
- Others prefer to obtain the numbers for the crèche at the time the attendees register to attend the conference
- There is also an option where families prefer to have more of a one on one service for these occasions and split the cost amongst themselves
Why our service is so appealing is that we are flexible to adapt to the individual needs of the occasion.
Business
There are a number of different business events that may benefit from a mobile Crèche: - Fundraising Events

Porta-Creche is also available to hire during week days. It is the perfect solution to universities, TAFE colleges and community groups who do not offer their own childcare service, and may require only temporary childcare at temporary locations. We are able to tailor our service to meet your needs and can set up our creches in any location - training centres, sports venues or even a public hall! Our mobile creche service is available to hire by local government departments large corporations and private  businesses.
Private Parties/Functions
Providing a childcare play area means that those you are inviting can attend without having to organise suitable childcare themselves. They can enjoy the event, safe in the knowledge that their children are close-by being cared for and at the same time having some fun!
